Thank you to Participants and Guests!

Thank you to the wonderful class of participants in this Mapping the Journey with GIS workshop. We hope the workshop was helpful to you. We were inspired by all your creative ideas for applying the skills you learned in your own work. Please let us know if you would like to share news or results of your projects on this website.

Thank you also to the guests who provided their expertise as we tried out integrating GIS into place-based, experiential, environmental education: Lyndon Torstenson, who works with Educational Partnerships at the National Park Service, and  Gustavo Castro, Water Resource Specialist, who works with stewardship grants at the Capital Region Watershed District.

Sincerely,
The Mapping the Journey Team
